AEC Support Manager

Position Overview
The AEC Support Manager is responsible for overseeing technical support and customer service within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. This role aims to enhance client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and ensuring effective communication between clients and technical teams. The manager will also lead project management initiatives and drive the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the technical support team to deliver high-quality customer service to AEC clients.
Prepare and implement support processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate with project managers to align support services with project needs and timelines.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills in BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve support services.
Create and maintain technical documentation for support processes and client interactions.
Solve complex technical issues by analyzing problems and providing effective solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role within the AEC industry.
Strong knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, and Revit software.
Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Experience in training and developing team members to improve performance and service delivery.
