We are looking for a/BIM Coordinator/to join our/Virtual Design Construction (VDC)/department! We specialize in the design and construction of electrical systems for institutional, commercial, industrial and service projects of all types and sizes, offering a full range of services from planning through construction.
Ability to take a project from start to finish; design-model to coordination-model to shop drawings to as-builts.
Assist with the system design, model all content, and coordinate the model with other trades.
Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment within designated job specifications.
Apply knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC).
Meet with clients (existing and potential), contractors and project staff.
Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED, though an Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Must have at least three (3) years of experience working as a BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler. Previous experience with an Electrical Contractor is ideal.
Proficient in Revit.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Must be able to understand and apply job-related concepts, technologies, instructions, procedures, computer and software operations, input data and create/annotate drawings with a very high degree of accuracy on a consistent basis with high throughput and minimum supervision.
