Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure project schedules are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and ensure quality control standards are upheld.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including timelines, budget status, and any deviations from the plan.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations, especially for government and historical projects.
• Familiarity with QA/QC practices and inspection processes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications are required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
