Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $85k - $120k/year Base Salary
Founded in 1948, we are a well established and reputable HVAC Service Contractor - multiple offices in Colorado, Arizona, and Virginia with 350 employees serving 1500+ clients. Our services include HVAC/R Maintenance, Facility Staffing, Energy Sustainability, Design-Build Retrofit Services.
We are looking for a Controls Engineer for our Denver location to provide programming, graphics, application engineering, and comissioning of new Automation Systems.
1) Program Niagara N4
2) Program Honeywell Spyder Classic/5/7, CIPer and Optimizer controllers
3) Configure third party controls devices
4) Commissioning of new and retrofitted control systems
5) Troubleshooting and diagnostics of new and existing
6) Create user-friendly customer interfaces (graphics)
7) Assist with project layout/engineering/design
8) Interpret mechanical and controls drawings, sequences and design intent
9) Develop sequences of operation in retrofit applications and identify deficiencies in engineered sequences
10) Identify additional controls opportunities and deficiencies
1) 1+ years of continuous Niagara N4 use (Big Plus)
2) 5+ years of HVAC/Mechanical controls experience
3) Custom programming experience of N4 (including Kit Control) and/or Honeywell Spyders
4) Engineering controls solutions and providing detailed as-built notes
5) Technical knowledge of HVAC systems (pressure dependent/independent VAV, chilled and hot water, various terminal air units, specialty equipment etc.)
6) Ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
7) Organization and time management/planning skills
