Position: Electrical Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Compensation: up to $95,000/year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility. The candidate must have a strong background in both electrical engineering and chemical processes, and be knowledgeable in National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and equipment for chemical manufacturing processes.- Ensure that all electrical systems comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
-Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve any issues.- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure optimal efficiency and functionality of electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, and documentation.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate them into our processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Field work experience
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Experience working with 480VAC systems, instrumentation, and controls.
