Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Employment Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on employment law matters, providing legal guidance and support to our clients as well as assisting senior attorneys in litigation and advisory roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests related to employment law cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various employment law issues, including discrimination, non-compete agreements, and EEOC claims.
  • Support senior attorneys in litigation matters, including attending depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in due diligence for M&A transactions, focusing on employment-related issues.
  • Draft and review employment contracts and policies to ensure legal compliance.

Must Have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in CO, or eligible to become admitted
  • 4+ Years employment law experience
  • Experience leading EEOC and analogous state/local agency charge responses

Additional Qualities:

  • Experience conducting employment due diligence and supporting M&A transactions
  • Past experience in wage and hour litigation, employment discrimination, and non-competition litigation

  • Our associate compensation structure has two components: (1) a base salary (based on an 1850 billable hour target) and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The base salary range for this role is $205,000 - $235,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The range is provided as an initial approximation at the time of posting and may vary based on the individual's unique qualifications and experience.
