We are an underground utility contractor with a solid pipeline looking to grow our estimating team! This is an in-office position in our Denver area office.

Position Overview:

The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and timeline of construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and experience with estimating software. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and experience with civil/underground utilities projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans and specifications to accurately estimate costs and timelines
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for estimates
Create detailed cost breakdowns and reports for management and clients
Stay updated on industry trends and cost fluctuations to ensure accurate estimates
Provide support and guidance to project teams during the bidding and estimating process
Utilize estimating software, such as HCSS, to streamline the estimating process
Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for various construction materials and methods
Assist in the preparation of proposals and bid documents

Qualifications:

3 years of civil/underground utility estimating experience
Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
Proficient in the use of estimating software, such as HCSS
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
