Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial viability of our projects and requires a strong understanding of construction processes and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Prepare and submit bids for projects, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather pertinent information.
Utilize estimating software and tools to create and manage estimates effectively.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Review and analyze historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and project budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
