Front End/UI Developer

Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Front End/UI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly web applications. So we need someone with UI/UX design capabilities, but also the knowledge to be able to implement those designs. We envision someone who can help drive the design of new web applications for internal use (think apps that replace desktop productivity/data entry with a web platform). But that person should be able to take a leading role in implementing that front end design. So ideally someone who is comfortable wearing both hats. You will collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-quality products that enhance user experience and engagement. This role is on site at our office in Portland and is a standard 9-5 work day.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Develop visually appealing UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications are modern and competitive.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus.
Experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET is a bonus.
Understanding of front end design principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
