Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and managing case files, particularly in the areas of discovery and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information
Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal documents
Support attorneys during trial preparation and trial proceedings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
Proven experience as a Paralegal, particularly in litigation and discovery
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proficient in legal research tools and software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Paralegal Certificate is a plus
Experience with trial preparation and Filevine is a plus
Familiarity with managing case files and documentation
