Manufacturing Process Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
Collaborate with cross-department teams to support new product introductions and ensure timely delivery.
Utilize Visio to map and visualize process flows and improvements.
Analyze manufacturing data to drive decisions and report on performance metrics.
Facilitate Kaizen events to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Engage in sustainability efforts and promote environmentally friendly manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and principles.
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on process improvement.
Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and data analysis.
Proficient in Visio and other process mapping tools.
Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes is a plus.
Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and practices such as CNC Machining, Plastic Injection Molding, and Electronics Assembly.
