The Job
Our team is responsible for 24/7 operations of these critical systems in the cloud. We are seeking a Senior Linux & Cloud Administrator, specializing in Linux HA Clusters, preferably Pacemaker, to support our multi-national team in cloud platform operations (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud & data centers), automation, and improvement. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring smooth 24/7 operations of Pacemaker Clusters, troubleshooting issues, making architectural/design improvements, setting up new clusters, and developing related automation.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Linux & Cloud Administrator and Pacemaker expert, you will be the final point of escalation for complex Pacemaker software and Linux OS/infrastructure issues across all platforms. You will identify and resolve architectural and design issues in existing Pacemaker setups, develop automation to ensure stability and reliability, and contribute to standardizing and simplifying server operations using software tools and automation (DevOps).
Skills required:
- Advanced Linux skills
- Linux HA clusters, preferably Pacemaker
- Experience with upgrades, security patching
- Advanced skills with public cloud providers (any one of AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Scripting (Shell, Python, Bash etc....)
- Stellar communication skills
