Position Overview
The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in our finance department, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This position aims to leverage accounting expertise to enhance financial processes and provide strategic recommendations to support the company's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accounting records.
Conduct internal and external audits, preparing audit programs and audit plans.
Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement in financial processes.
Develop and present audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage for financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analytical insights.
Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Strong understanding of financial statements, audit standards, and compliance regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software, including Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong teamwork abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
