Position Overview
As a Tax Associate, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of tax engagements. This role offers hands-on experience in preparing tax returns, conducting research, and communicating with clients. Key Responsibilities

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Assist with year-end tax planning and projections
Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on various tax issues
Maintain client documentation and ensure accuracy of financial data
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates
Stay up to date on federal and state tax laws and regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
CPA eligible or in progress strongly preferred
Up to 2 years of public accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax software a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
