Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to federal and state tax regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of various tax forms and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review tax returns for various entities including individuals, estates, and corporations
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
Assist in the development of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff
Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation
Strong knowledge of tax forms including 1040, 1041, 1120S, and 1120
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
